November 2017Principal's Corner
The weather is getting cooler and more than likely your child will need to wear a coat or jacket to school. Please be sure to label his coat somewhere on the inside in case it is lost. Additionally, our Fall Carnival is quickly approaching. It will be November 14th. Can you say do-si-do? Each grade level will perform a line dance at the carnival. Come out to see and participate with our scholars! It will be a great night of family fun. This time will be very special because we are celebrating our 40th Birthday. You must come and please invite a friend. If you know someone who went to Anderson Mill in the 70s, tell them to come too! We are in need of dads, uncles, adult big brothers, etc. as WATCH D.O.G.S. Please become a part of our school and making your presence known by volunteering as a WATCH D.O.G.S. For more information, contact Brad Clark at [email protected] Lastly, I would like to remind you to stay healthy. Let us know about allergies your child may have. Talk to your children about allergies other scholars may have. For example, we have scholars who have major allergies to peanuts. Your child should not come in contact with children with peanut allergies during lunch if he is eating peanut butter sandwiches. Additionally, if there were a medical emergency, would we be able to reach you? Please keep contact information current.
